New Camera Housing

I just got back from a long trip. Phoenix, Tuscon, Denver, Ft. Collins and Salt Lake City in five days. Every day was nonstop, I’m exhausted. it was a lot of fun, though. I’m actually hoping I can travel more. It’s good experience for me, and very helpful for the company.

I came home to a nice present: Our new camera housing and strobe arrived. I got the Aquatica housing for our Canon Digital Rebel DSLR camera, complete with ULCS strobe arms and an Inon Z220 strobe. Today was my first chance to play with it all in a pool, tomorrow we try it at Catalina. It an advanced dive for our first one with the camera — Farnsworth Banks, which starts at 80 feet and keeps going down — but I feel comfortable with it now. Actually, we have done three dives with a loaner camera, so I should be good.

Leaving you with a few test shots from the pool today. Hopefully I’ll have some nice ones tomorrow.

Kris thought that sounded like a threat. It was a threat to have you over for dessert. That’s all. Really.

Thanks. I was in Tuscon for about 8 hours, and I was working the whole time. I’ll meet you at the Silver Llama next time I’m around.
