I saw the coolest spider this morning:
It had a cool red marking on its belly and looked utterly evil. It had made a web on the tire of an old Mercedes in our parking garage that we walk by every day. I snapped this picture and walked away. After about five steps, I realised that Anna would have a seisure if she walked by this thing, so I went back to “take care of it” for her. When I got back, it was gone. Even the web was gone! In 20 seconds it removed all traces of itself. Total evil. It will probably kill me tonight.

A friend has confirmed that this was indeed a Black Widow, so it really could kill me. Guess I need to watch my step on the way to the car.
